Beautiful story. Everyone should have a little pink champagne in their life, and I am grateful that Ariela did, and that she appreciated it so much. Her capacity for life inspires us all.
I think she drank more when I wasn’t around. Just learning.
I think most kids drink more when their parents aren’t around. 🙂 And I’m thinking Ariela (as you so lovingly write about your family in your LTYM essay) was sometimes “just like everyone else.”
